ContactNB is a provincial industry association representing the Contact Centre industry in New Brunswick, led by a private sector Board of Directors committed to industry growth, employee development and enhanced community awareness. We represent an industry that employs over 18,000 people in the province of New Brunswick and contributes approximately $1.5 billion to the economy.
New Brunswick's contact centre industry blossomed in the early 1990's and has grown to nearly one hundred sites spread across the province. Many of our marquee companies have celebrated anniversaries of twenty-five years or more. The industry has matured, continued to thrive and boasts some of the best-trained employees in the world and those skills are allowing New Brunswickers to compete for - and win – business from around the globe.
Since its beginning in 1998, ContactNB has partnered with industry, as well as government departments and agencies, to ensure that the New Brunswick contact centre industry developed in a professional and sustainable manner. Working with members, ContactNB has strived to ensure that the industry adopts standards and practices that ensure that customers receive the very best service possible and that employees have opportunities for long-term rewarding careers.
OUR MISSION is to ensure that New Brunswick continues to be seen as the location of choice for companies committed to providing world-class customer service through a highly-skilled workforce enabled with training, education and leading-edge technology.
We organize two major events annually -- the Awards of Excellence gala and dinner, to celebrate excellence and foster pride in New Brunswick's contact centres through recognition of the many achievements of our member companies and our employees, and the Contact Atlantic Conference, a three-day conference bringing together more than 150 contact centre professionals from Atlantic Canada and beyond. In addition to these events, ContactNB organizes workshops, seminars, training events and best practice sessions to ensure our members continue to be on the cutting edge of industry practices and technology.
We proudly partner with businesses that support the contact centre industry as well, and do our best to refer business to these outstanding partners when our members are looking for a particular product, service or offering. We have seen a lot of successful business interactions take place between our Members and our Partners.
ContactNB is the focal point of New Brunswick's vibrant contact centre industry. We serve as the spokesperson for the industry with the news media as well as the faciltator of networking between our contact centres, government and post-secondary education institutions, community agencies, as well as with vendors and suppliers. With nearly twenty years of success, New Brunswick has become a centre of excellence in the field of customer contact centre operations boasting many major brand-name corporations as well as several home-grown companies.
